Three-Day Training on Principles, Approaches, and Strategic Management of Humanitarian Action in Tigray
In a significant capacity-building initiative, EGOAIZIA conducted a comprehensive three-day training program from February 18 to 20, 2024. The training focused on “Principles, Approaches, and Strategic Management of Humanitarian Action” and was attended by all HOP project and head office employees in Tigray, Mekelle. Key Highlights of the Training:
CCCM support to IDPs in 4 settlement sites
This project has been implemented starting from April-July 2023 in Wukro town at a cost of ETB 2,200,000.00 The project is underway with the financial and technical support of IOM/EHF to benefit 469 households/1,349 individuals.
Repair of Destroyed Community Residential Houses
This project has been implemented starting from January-April 2022 in Hawzen woreda at a cost of ETB 3,168,395.23. The project has been implemented with the financial and technical support of IOM/EHF. This project has benefitted 284 households dwelling in 11 kebelles in Hawzen woreda.
CCCM support to IDPs in 3 settlement sites
this project has been implemented starting from 15 August 2021-15 January 2022 in Mekelle and Adigrat towns at a cost of ETB1,886,750.06. The project has been implemented with the financial and technical support of IOM/RRF. This project has benefitted 30,243 IDPs that has settled in Mekelle and Adigrat.
