Heal Our People (HOP) Co-Leads Tigray CCCM Cluster to Support Vulnerable Communities Mekelle, 10/06/2024 – In a significant development, Heal Our People (HOP), a local Civil Society Organization (CSO), has been selected as a co-lead for the Tigray Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) sub-national cluster. This strategic partnership underscores HOP’s unwavering commitment to serving the region and assisting vulnerable populations.
Mr. Daniel Admasu, appointed by HOP, will actively engage with stakeholders, facilitate coordination efforts, and advocate for the needs of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and host communities. HOP’s mission encompasses community cohesion, peace-building, and addressing critical humanitarian challenges.
HOP’s Role in the Return Exercise:
Coordination and Advocacy: HOP will actively engage with relevant stakeholders, advocating for streamlined processes and ensuring that returnees’ rights are protected.
Community Reintegration: We recognize the importance of successful reintegration. HOP will collaborate with local communities, providing essential services and support to returnees.
