Adwa, Tigray — September 30, 2025 HOP successfully conducted a protection-focused workshop aimed at strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations and community leaders to integrate protection principles into humanitarian and development work.
Supported financially by the Ethiopia Humanitarian Fund (EHF) and NMWEO, the workshop introduced core protection concepts and practical strategies for operational integration.
A total of 31 participants attended, including CSO representatives, religious and community leaders, youth and women’s group leaders, disability advocates, Edir leaders, and HOP staff.
The event reinforced inclusive, rights-based approaches and highlighted the critical role of local actors in advancing protection in crisis-affected settings.
