In a significant humanitarian effort, Shelter and Non-Food Items (NFI) were recently distributed to 1000 households in the Eastern Zone of Tigray, specifically in the Wukro and Kilteawlaelo weredas. These households have been directly impacted by conflict and include survivors of gender-based violence (GBV).
Here are the key details of the distribution:
Total Households: 1000
Female-Headed Households: 792
Male-Headed Households: 208
Assistance Tools: The distribution process was facilitated using a Kobo tool and barcodes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
This initiative aims to provide essential support to those affected by conflict, ensuring that they have access to necessary items. This vital project was made possible through the generous funding from the Basque government. Implementation was carried out by HOP (Heal our
People) in collaboration with EGOAIZIA.
As the situation in Tigray continues to evolve, efforts like these play a vital role in alleviating the hardships faced by vulnerable communities. We remain committed to supporting those in need and working towards a safer and more stable future.
Let us stand together in solidarity and continue to extend a helping hand to those who need it most.
